Conspiracy theorists have decided that the Russian leader is immortal due to pictures from 100 years ago which show his lookalike
Is Vladimir Putin immortal? The answer is, of course, no.
But a photograph has appeared showing the Russian president has “survived” 100 years with his appearance almost unchanged
The picture, taken in 1920, shows a Russian soldier who has an uncanny resemblance to the country’s current leader.
Yet another photo, taken of a Russian soldier in 1941, also looks uncannily like Mr Putin and the man who was pictured 20 years prior.
Perhaps the key to his long life is riding horses while shirtless, or staying fit and healthy by taking part in a variety of sports.
Conspiracy theorists have suggested that there is more than coincidence or just good health behind these photographs – they think that the Russian leader could be immortal.
“On social networks are circulating pictures from 1920, and in 1941, for which some people claim that they are pictures of Mr Putin,” Disclose.tvreported.
BuzzFeed suggested earlier this year that the Russian leader could, in fact, be the model and inspiration for the Mona Lisa.
