At least 23 dead after cargo plane crashes near South Sudan airport, witnesses say

A cargo plane crashes after takeoff in ; casualties reported http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/162637.aspx 

Russian television channel LifeNews quoted an unnamed source at the Russian aviation agency as saying that the Antonov-12 plane, made in the Soviet Union in 1971, appeared to have been overloaded.There has been no official reaction from Russian authorities so far.

Wreckage was strewn on the east side of the Nile River, AP reported.

Ateny said the plane was en route to the Paloch oil fields South Sudan’s Upper Nilestate, according to AP.
